Meet ABIODUN THOMAS OYEBISI
PASTOR IN CHARGE
was born on January 1st 1972 into the family of Pa Stephen Oyelakin Oyebisi & Victoria Omobonike Oyebisi both of blessed memory.
A graduate of Accounting from The Polytechnic Ibadan Nigeria and holder of Master Degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Devry University USA.
He is a Chartered accountant and a chartered stockbroker.
He worked with the audit firm of Olu Adasonla & Co Chartered accountant for one year before he started his banking career in Nigeria in 1999. He worked with Ecobank Nigeria Plc, Commercial Bank Credit Lyonnaire, African Express Bank, Midas Bank and Intercontinental Bank Plc(now Access Bank Plc) where he resigned his appointment in February 2012 to pursue his master’s degree in the USA.
He currently work in his own firm, Excelle Financial Services, an Accounting and management consulting firm which he started in October 2015.
He became a member of RCCG in 1998 and got baptized in April of the same year. He joined the workforce and later became a Sunday school teacher, Sunday School coordinator and assistant Parish Pastor. He also served as Area treasurer at his area headquarters in Ketu, Lagos. He travelled at the point he was appointed as a Parish Pastor in 2012 and was unable to assumed the position.
He was ordained a Deacon in August 2006 and has served under the leadership of many as his Parish Pastors and Area Pastors among whom are; Pastor Richard Adewunmi, , Pastor Charles Adesuyan, , Pastor Bola Owati. . He has been serving in the RCCG, The Winners Assembly, downtown Dallas, USA since 2013 as a Sunday school coordinator, accountant and a minister of God under the leadership of Pastor Raphael Adebayo.
He was Inaugurated on the 4th of August 2019 as Pastor in charge of Parish, When the incumbent Pastor was retired. Pastor Tom’s Presence in Amazing Grace Parish has been a blessing to the body of Christ
He got married to Mrs Itunuoluwa Abiodun Oyebisi in March 2002 and they are blessed with four children to the glory of God.
Pastor Tom as He’s Fondly called and He’s heartthrob Mrs Itunuoluwa are well known for their love for the gospel, creativity in their style of leadership & communication and their undaunted love for the Congregation of Amazing Grace Parish
Meet OLUDOTUN ALBERT IDOWU
FOUNDING PASTOR
I arrived USA October 2nd, 1997 and in June 1998 I was ordained Assistant Pastor at the RCCGNA Annual Convention in Houston TX, by the General Overseer Pastor E.A. Adeboye.
In August 1998 I was ordained the Pastor of RCCG: Amazing Grace parish. The parish was the 2nd in the DFW metropolis. Our first Sunday service started August 28th at 11836 Judd Court Ste. 226 Dallas, with almost 20 congregants.
My family was still in Nigeria and they waited until December 3rd, 2003 before they joined me here in America. Meanwhile, my experience as Parish Pastor gave me the opportunity to interact with so many different persons enhancing my inter-personal relationships with others.
January 23rd, 2004 was one of my happiest days when at the US District Court, I was sworn in as a citizen of the USA, with my family all around me.
The Church continued to grow slowly but steadily, reaching at times 100 – 110 members.
In compliance with the RCCG guidelines, the parish gave birth in quick succession, to four other parishes, and sent some ministers over to assist the Pastors in the work of the ministry.
I was ordained a full Pastor at the annual convention of July 2005 by the GO. Thereafter, I became a Full Time Pastor, with no other secular work.
The Church secured her permanent location in 2009 in the city of Rowlett TX. The General Overseer dedicated the Church in June 2010. The facility, which had been an American church had been vacated for some time, and therefore it needed some improvements. By His grace, God provided the necessary funds to carry out the repairs.
Many of the Church members did not want to be driving from our former location in Dallas to Rowlett, hence we lost some members. However, with active Evangelism and God’s help, we were able to remain afloat. The Church got approved for Prison Ministry, while we also carried out Evangelism within our neighborhood. Every Summer period, the Church gives out free cold water to motorists at the intersection of Miller & Chiesa (directly opposite our church).
Our doctrinal exercise includes the School of Disciples which is opened to any born-again Christian even outside of RCCG. As many as 500 have graduated from the school and serving as ministers in their various churches.
The Church became a Zonal headquarter (TX 21) in 2017 and I was appointed the Zonal Coordinator until my retirement as Parish Pastor & Zonal Coordinator in 2019.
I have published two books. The 1st is titled, “WHAT YOU BEHOLD YOU BECOME” in 2014. The 2nd book is titled “THINGS UNKNOWN” which is available on Amazon.com
I am married to A/P Olubukola Ruth Idowu and have 7 children.
Meet JAMES OLUWASEGUN DAVID
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
A charismatic religious enthusiast who’s constantly seeking for avenues to serve humanity and impact Godly biblical principles in the development of its immediate community,
I was born by parents who are devoted Christians whose believes are centered on biblical principles and doctrines In December 2001, I joined The Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG) Love Assembly Parish Zonal Headquarter Akoka, Yaba Lagos Nigeria as congregation member and later became official member of the mission in 2002 having gone thru necessary trainings. In 2003, in fulfillments of mission requirement I was baptized by immersion for effectiveness in service. I was later nominated as officiating parishioner minister in Charge of the youth church in 2008.
In pursuance of my passion for responsibilities, in 2013 I obtained Master degree in Management at the University of Wales United Kingdom, and in 2014 I equally obtained certificate of school of discipleship and Post graduate Diploma in Theology with the mission for effectiveness in my spiritual calling and service to God and his Church. As a result of growth and expansion at the headquarter, I was nominated and transferred in 2014 as pioneer Lead officiating Pastor of RCCG Garden of Comfort Parish Shomolu Lagos Nigeria, a branch parish of the headquarter where I served as Pastor in Charge of parish until March 2017
In 2017 I was also nominated and transferred as Lead officiating Pastor to pioneer new parish RCCG Chapel of Breakthrough at Ebute- meta Lagos, Nigeria where I served till I moved to the United States of America. While serving in this role I was ordained by the General overseer of the mission in August 2017 and 2018 thru the Zonal headquarter nomination.
Been a Parish Pastor exposed me to different leadership skills and its applications in relating with congregation and community where I operate in and how best I could serve Gods people through the demonstration of His love.
Currently I am serving with RCCG Amazing Grace Parish Rowlett, Texas USA as Associate Pastor.
I am happily married to Oluwaseun Mary James and the union is blessed with two children.
Meet ADEGUNLE ROTIMI SAMUEL
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
Generally known as Pastor Sam was born in Ondo town, Ondo state to the family of Adegunle’s.
He attended Rufus Giwa polytechnic Owo, former Ondo state polytechnic Owo.
He joined RCCG in 1994 at Olufemisoro Ondo. He became a choir member of possibility assembly, later became a Choir Master in sunshine parish in Owo. He was the Youth President and Minister in Charge of Youth in the year 2006 under Pastor Akinbi Joseph.
He pastored Victory Embassy Owo for 4yrs
He served in the capacity of a Sunday school teacher and Coordinator till he left Nigeria.
Pastor Sam as He’s fondly addressed has served as a minister and direct assistant under the leadership of many pastors, among them are, Pastor Akinbi joseph, Pastor Otitodun Daniel, Pastor Ololade among others.
He’s been posted on several occasions from his parent church to serve in other churches and head some other churches for change of pulpit.
Pastor Sam has been recommended for Pastoral Ordination and service on several occasions. He also served in the capacity of a Pastor in Adonai outreach ministry at Rhode Island, as well as Victory Centre in the United States. He has ministered in some churches on invitations.
To the glory of God, Pastor Sam is Happily married and blessed with a daughter.
Above all pastor Sam is well known for his humility and commitment to the work of God.
